About the Graduate School 대학원 소개
Kookmin University AI·SW Graduate School is a newly established professional graduate school (2026) dedicated to training advanced researchers and industry leaders in Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering. Distinct from the existing special graduate school for working professionals, this full-time, research-intensive program offers M.S., Ph.D., and Integrated M.S./Ph.D. degrees in a single department: AI·SW.
국민대학교 AI·SW대학원은 인공지능과 소프트웨어 공학 분야의 고급 연구 인력 및 산업 리더를 양성하기 위해 2026학년도에 신설된 전문대학원입니다. 기존 재직자 중심 특수대학원(소프트웨어융합대학원)과 차별화하여, 전일제 연구집약형 교육과정으로 석사, 박사, 석·박사 통합과정을 운영합니다.
본교는 중장기 발전계획 “KMU VISION 2035:EDGE”에서 인공지능 분야 육성을 핵심 전략으로 설정하였으며, 2025년 과기정통부·IITP AI 스타펠로우십에 선정되어 2025년 4월부터 2030년 12월까지 연 20억 원 × 6년, 총 115억 원 규모의 안정적 외부 재원을 확보하였습니다.
Aligned with Kookmin University's strategic plan “KMU VISION 2035:EDGE,” the school was selected for the MSIT·IITP AI Star Fellowship program in 2025, securing stable external funding of approximately KRW 2 billion per year for six years (2025.04–2030.12, total KRW 11.5 billion) to support education, research, and industry collaboration in AI core technologies and AI+X applications.
