Research Overview 연구 개요
Research focuses on multimedia systems, database systems, and data modeling. In particular, the lab investigates multimedia metadata processing based on the MPEG-7 and MPEG-21 international standards, as well as content-analysis-based multimedia indexing, storage, and retrieval techniques. Recent work explores cloud computing resource optimization using time-series forecasting models.
멀티미디어 시스템, 데이터베이스 시스템, 데이터 모델링을 중심으로 연구합니다. 특히 MPEG-7과 MPEG-21 국제표준에 기반한 멀티미디어 메타데이터 처리, 콘텐츠 분석에 기반한 멀티미디어 인덱싱과 저장 및 검색 기법에 대해 연구합니다. 최근에는 시계열 예측 모델을 활용한 클라우드 컴퓨팅 자원 최적화를 연구하고 있습니다.
